Studio Policies & Procedures

Our studio policies ensure that all clients have a safe and enjoyable class.

Class Arrival Time
When coming in for your first class at Vibe, please be sure to arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow time to fill out our liability waiver and get settled in. To ensure a smooth start, please note that
clients taking their first class will not be permitted to join class after the scheduled start time.

Late Arrivals
For all following classes, we ask that you arrive to the studio at least 5 minutes prior to your class start time. To ensure the safety of fellow clients and a positive class experience for all, returning clients are
allowed to join class no later than 5 minutes after the scheduled class start time.

Class Safety & Etiquette

  • Grip socks are required for all class participants.
  • Cell phones are strictly prohibited in the classroom area. We ask that cell phones be silenced upon entering the studio and stowed in cubbies for the duration of class.
  • Water bottles and/or towels are the only personal items permitted in the classroom area.

Class Duration
All
group classes are 45 minutes in duration.
All
private and semi-private sessions are 55 minutes in duration.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that "life happens" for all of us, and sometimes you'll need to cancel a class reservation. In an effort to be as accommodating as possible, our cancellation window is set at 4 hours. When a reservation is cancelled with less than 4 hours notice, one of the following conditions will apply:

  • For clients with a credit package (including intro pack): loss of class credit
  • For clients with a membership (including one week intro pass): $10 auto-fee will be assessed

No-Show Policy
When a client "no-shows" for class, one of the following conditions will apply:

  • For clients with a credit package (including intro pack): $15 auto-fee + loss of class credit
  • For clients with a membership (including one week intro pass): $15 auto-fee will be assessed

14-Day Booking Window
At Vibe, all clients have the same access to class bookings, and all regularly scheduled classes are available for booking
14 days prior to the class start time.

Waitlist Procedures
Want to sign up for a class that's already full?--we encourage you to put yourself on the waitlist! Because of our 4-hour cancellation policy, class rosters tend to change regularly, so there's always a good chance you'll make it into class.

  • When a spot in class becomes available more than 4 hours before the class start time: The booking system will automatically add and confirm the person at the top of the waitlist + send an email notifying the client of their reservation.
  • When a spot in class becomes available less than 4 hours before the class start time: The open spot becomes "first-come, first-served" and the booking system sends an auto-text message to everyone on the waitlist with a clickable link to grab the spot. If you're the first one to respond, you'll get a follow-up text message confirming your reservation. If you attempt to get the spot but someone else gets to it first, you'll get a follow-up text message letting you know the spot is already called for.

Checking In For Class
No one likes getting an erroneous fee! To avoid this, please be sure you're properly checked in for class. While many of our clients enjoy using our
Vibe phone app to check themselves in, this is certainly not required. If you choose not to sign in via app, please be sure to check in with the front desk upon arrival to the studio.

Class Levels
As you get to know our studio, build your Pilates skills and "find your vibe," we ask that new clients focus on
beginner-level and open-level classes, offered plentifully throughout our schedule.

Participation in Intermediate-Level Classes
To ensure the safety of all clients, we require all participants of intermediate-level classes to first meet a prerequisite of
a minimum of 20 prior beginner-level and open-level classes.* Intermediate-level classes include: Intermediate Reformer, Reformer & Chair, Powerhouse Reformer, Jumpboard Reformer, Intermediate Tower, Tower & Chair, and Tower Sculpt.

*If you have prior Pilates experience as a new client of Vibe and feel you're ready to take intermediate-level classes without meeting the 20-class requirement, please feel free to contact our front desk to discuss. In qualifying situations, we're happy to make an exception :)

For participation in Advanced Intermediate Reformer class, the requirement is 50 prior classes.

Minimum Age
The minimum age for class participation is 15; for clients under the age of 18, parental consent is required.
